The 2025 Snakehead Shootout registration is now live!
We moved the format to a one division, artificial only style tournament open to ALL ages.
There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as Top JR Angler.

2024 Pro Angler of The Year Caleb Petitt
Caleb Petitt took home this years most prestigious prize, The Pro Snakehead Series Angler of The Year Award! Caleb weighed a 7.2lb in the Smackdown good for 2nd and 29 points, a 7.9lb in the Shootout good for another 2nd place finish and another 29 points. Going into the Showdown Caleb held 58 points which was a very narrow 1 point lead over the Smackdown's winner, Billy Cody with 57 points. At the October 12th Showdown weigh in, he brought a 6.9lb to the scales good for 7th place and 24 points for a series total of 82 points!! Beating the 2nd place series winner Brandon Gatward by 1 point.

1st Place Pro Division
Brandon Gatward took home $740 plus a beautifully crafted Cabbage Shack Artworks Trophy plus UFO Shirt for a 9.95 LB Snakehead! He won top angler in the Pro Division and the Big Fish Pro Calcutta. Brandon also came in 2nd place overall in the Pro Series points race with 81 points.
1st Place Open Division
Tyson Schroader took home $420 plus a beautifully crafted Cabbage Shack Artworks Trophy for a 10.45 LB Snakehead! He won top angler in the Open Division and the Big Fish Open Calcutta.
Closest to 5lb Calcutta
Kyle Evenson took home $340 for bringing in a 5.00 lb snakehead to be the winner of this fun and optional calcutta!
